Google’s Solar Power
1.6 megawatts of solar photovoltaic panels is pretty impressive. The Googleplex uses three times that much power at peak times. That is pretty impressive too.
The Three Gorges Dam Project is also very impressive. The fact that people in China might not get to see the Wikipedia article that contains information about the downside of China’s huge power project doesn’t impress me much. Ok, I checked. I can look at the Wikipedia entry using google.cn.
