We have been discussing strategies for keeping our indoor air as cool and as fresh as possible. It was 40 degrees Celsius outside today.

Minka Aire fans from ShopPremier.com could help move air around the house. If we had a ceiling fan, we wouldn’t be arguing about where to place the free-standing fan as much. There are still a couple of things to argue about with ceiling fans. Speed and direction are the two issues.

In my opinion, a powerful fan can create a draft that will help keep you cooler in the summer by increasing the evaporative cooling on the surface of your skin. My wife contends that the main purpose of a fan is to push hot air out of the house.

We both agree that heated arguments do not help cool you off.
