actually the kimkins diet discussed in her forum is actually a form of anorexia and my doctor has called it a new starvation diet...I have stopped the diet as I was not aware that living on such low calories was considered an eating disorder. No hate mail here toward Kimmer just an unawareness of the environment shes fostering.

Kimmer is irrelevant to the most of us. The diet and support is real and works.
By the way, I met people in the forum that saw Kimmer eating from her tupperwear rather than going to the vendor machines for food in some good will event. Then, they started the Kimkins diet and that was it. Even in many forums post many people prefer to post the picture of somebodyelse rather themselves, what's wrong with that? Come on! We are talking about a diet that works for many not about Kimmer, Heidi or Elvis!
I lost already 30 pounds in 3 months, and I am real. Do you want to see my pics? And I am a modest story!

Oh, good grief. This is all a bunch of silliness. With all the wars, poverty, etc. in the world, you’re all so caught up in this soap opera of your own creation. I’d be really curious to know how many of you have ‘failed’ at the kimkins diet and are just bitter. No matter how good a diet is, it still takes willpower … :)

Wars, poverty, etc are totally different subjects!! By this reasoning should we not go after bank robbers? Insurance fraud? If this "woman" is a fraud she should be investigated and the people she hurt should be reimbursed.

As for trying and failing? Well I'll say that I have not tried Kimkins as it's a low fat plan and have no desire to try, again, to stick to a low fat plan. Low fat is not healthy as we need fat for good health, just as we need protein for good health. Yes, not all fat, or protein, is good and the bad should be restricted or avoided, but the body has a certain requirement for certain levels of fat and protein and if you don't get enough you will not be healthy and can possibly even die.

Personally I don't care what one does to loose weight....or if they decide they don't want to or need to loose weight. It's personal choice and I fully support personal choice.

My personal choice has been a mixture of Atkins and Protein Power. I've not tried Kimkins, but you don't have to try something to understand whether it's healthy or not. Severely limiting calories to the degree that many members say people are limiting them is not healthy. And if anyone says it is, they have no understanding of how our bodies work. One exception would be such limitations under the supervision of a doctor. I'm a RN with over 30 years of experience and have been researching nutrition for several years, but I would never feel that I am qualified to supervise someone following such restrictions.

Oh yea, I've lost, so far, over 70 pounds. I've done it fairly slowly over several years and have even regained a little here and there. Will power has some place in sticking with a weight reduction diet, but the main thing is to find a healthy plan that you can live with for the rest of your life. And a plan that can be slowly adapted to fit into maintenance of the weight loss.

And the plot thickens. All of this is VERY interesting. Please continue to cover this story. I'm a long time Kimkins member, and am very interested in the developments.

Why is this series being stringed along and not published all at once?
The latest is that Heidi is agoraphobic ? Then how did she leave to meet a foster child in Utah? How is she out and about in those before pictures ?
Some things just dont add up...
It is amazing that she has made a millionare out of herself. ( If that is true. )She does devote herself to helping others and she should be compensated for that imo.
I guess I am more curious then anything to know if she follows her own diet. Her plan does work and kudos to those who can follow such a strict eating plan!

My understanding is that she did not meet with anyone from Woman's World. I've asked their editor for comment on the matter but they have not replied. Woman's World's apparent lack of factchecking about Kimmer's weight loss success claims is a very interesting part of this story, in my opinion.

How convenient! ::rolleyes::

So we know Kimmer/Heidi/Kim Drake did not meet with Christin. But did she even meet with anyone from Woman's World? Who took the pictures (red dress and leopard shirt) that were actually in the magazine? Did Woman's World publish this without even meeting Kimmer/Heidi/Kim Drake face to face? And they're both right there in southern California? That should have sent red flags up all over the place in the WW's office, dontcha think?

Ooops, there goes the agoraphobia excuse!

"Heidi had an emergency dealing with a foster kid in Utah.. Apparently she drove from CA to UT took care of it and was back home in no more than 24 hours, thus, making it impossible for Christin to even try again to meet her.."
