A New Kimmer/Heidi Diaz Before Photo

A New Kimmer/Heidi Diaz Before PhotoDuring the course of my coverage of the Kimkins/Kimmer/Heidi Diaz story and my wife Catherine’s experiences as Heidi Diaz’ early Kimkins partner, there are some pieces of information I have not yet shared. This before picture is one of them.

Heidi send this picture to Catherine in an email dated July 17, 2006 — the same email in which she first provided the seated patio “after” photo and the famous profile before picture in the white floral top and white pants. Since this picture I’m sharing now has never, to my knowledge, been published I was concerned that there may be copyright issues. Given recent events, I think that the newsworthiness of this photo makes my publication of it fair use.

Click on the thumbnail to see the image just as Catherine received it. The image is a large file and provides the clearest view of Heidi’s face to date. Brandon is in the photo and since this provides a valuable clue to the approximate date of the photo, I have not cropped him out. He appears to be about four or five years old and so I think it’s likely that this photo was taken several years before the blue shirt pictures.

Hmm..her face looks pretty old in that picture..It looks like a “grandma” type face in my humble opinion. She would have been 35ish..but this woman looks about 55 plus. Just my opinion.

  2. Michele Says:

Heidi posted that picture on LCF before. we have all seen it before

  3. Tooter Says:

Michele, I have also seen this picture before. I don’t remember if it was LCF or not.

Curious, I agree very much like a grandma face. Maybe its her mom????

  4. Denise Says:

I also saw this picture but I couldn’t remember where, so don’t worry about copyright issues. She must have posted it probably around the time she started working with your wife.

Brandon looks like such a cutie. Too bad he’s got a psycho for a mom. Is it just me or did anyone else hear the music from Psycho when they looked at her face in that pic? Seriously.

I don’t think any of her real before pics look like the young girl in the white shirt that she used as her first After pic. That girl looks more ethnic, Hispanic maybe. Perhaps an inlaw.

  5. Kimmerexia Says:

Compare this one with the one in the blue sweater from classmates.com…the one where she’s not wearing sunglasses.

It’s a dead-on match. Same dimples, nose and eyes.

The big hair and the gawd-awful grandma party dress are very distracting, but comparing the two good available face-on pictures, there’s no doubt that it is of the same person, one Heidi Kimberly ‘Kimmer’ [Miller] Diaz and none other.

  6. Anonymous Says:

Do any of you know how to email the author of these posts?

  7. Tooter Says:

Well, I’m the “Tooter” from LCF and I agree with Kimmerexia that the faces look the same.

  8. Jeanessa Says:

Heidi has a LOT more to worry about than a few unflattering photos of herself being debated over the Internet, or even feeling that her privacy has been violated.

  9. Anonymous, too Says:

Thanks for all your hard work, Martin.

This picture makes it obvious why Kimmer chooses pictures of herself that show her mouth closed, or nearly closed. The gap in her teeth is quite distinctive. Also, I don’t think I see any eyebrows in this photo. Could this be why Kimmer has such long bangs and is usually wearing large sunglasses?

If anyone is interested, I found a picture of the actress Julianne Moore that looks very much like Kimmer’s red dress picture. The eye color is different, and she is a few pounds skinnier, but the eyes, the eyebrows, the hairline, the nose and the general body shape are very similar to those of the woman in the red dress picture.

  10. Switz Says:

The LCF member of many years who posted as Kimmer and started Kimkins there, has said on LCF her name IRL is Hedi Diaz. It is crazy for her to state now, that Kimmer of Kimkins is NOT Hedi Diaz.

  11. anonymous Says:

“I don’t think I see any eyebrows in this photo..”

well the PI did say she wears a wig.. the hair in the above photo looks very ‘wiggish’ to me

  12. BabyBug Says:

Thank you, Martin for adding this to the collection of photos and evidence linking Heidi Diaz as Kimmer. Don’t you feel the argument that you should post the recent PI pic of her AND Brandon now is even more compelling?

I don’t doubt that the recent PI pics are Heidi Diaz who is in fact Kimmer.
However, as you know Kimmer is attempting to spin a story on kimkins that the recent photos are a “new partner” named Heidi Diaz who became involved in her business ONLY after the dissolution of her partnership with Catherine in 2006.
This pic today shows the date as you and others have said to be about 13 years ago around 1993-1995. Therefore to show the current picture of Heidi with Brandon where a viewer can compare that to the above pic allows for a timeline that is against what Kimmer is attempting to spin by using Brandon’s image as validation.

I am aware that the before picture that Kimmer used on the LCF “ask Kimmer” is the picture of the “blue sweater” woman who is no doubt Heidi Diaz. This does already prove that Kimmer was using a picture of Heidi Diaz years before 2006…Why? Because Kimmer is Heidi Diaz.

BUT from the recent posts on LCF by a supposed kimkins member and then the subsequent posts that followed on the Kimkins site leads me to believe that Kimmer is going to attempt to spin yet another one of her webs.

I may just have a suspicious mind but I find it very interesting that after a “fleeing Kimkins member” posted a link on Kimkins, which of course was deleted, that then a supposed kimkins Admin showed up and posted on LCF.
The link that the fleeing kk member posted on Kimkins was an attempt to confirm Heidi Diaz as Kimmer by showing a post from LCF outlining Kimmer discussing her last name as Diaz and also showing the “blue sweater” avatar of Kimmer.

The Kimkins Admin that posted on LCF then went back to kimkins and alleged that her posts on LCF were altered and censored that in essence her posts did not appear as written. There were no specifics that she mentioned but it was an attempt in my opinion to place a seed of doubt with other kimkins members on the practices of the LCF.

WHY? Well, this would allow Kimmer to then ride in and say “See those avatar pics were planted/altered by LCF due to the anti-kimkins stance there.” She has already spoken of her lack of popularity there and is attempting to lay a plan for explaining away those pictures on LCF connecting Kimmer and Heidi Diaz years before 2006.

I am a member of Kimkins and did at first buy into Kimmer’s defense of how everyone was attempting to “Cause her harm” all the while she was doing harm to me and many others!!! I can’t say for any certainty that what I stated above is what Kimmer plans to do but, Hell I don’t think she could either, because her deception is multi-faceted and ever changing.

But I can say that Kimmer is a planner of deception if nothing else and this is evident in how she set-up her website to scam thousands out of their health and mony!

My last name is Diaz so I’m aware of the chorizo ‘innards’ (note that I don’t buy any, LOL!)

Keep in mind how SMALL 3.5 ounces RAW is … not a whole lot, especially if you’re eating high calorie stuff during the day (hamburger, cheese).

How funny! I was Room Mom for 5 years when my son was in Christian school and Miss Heidi became second nature to me.

“Miss Kimmer” is so cute, LOL.

  14. ItsTheWooo Says:

The woman looks young, 35 sounds right curious. Weight and frumpy clothes/hair makes a woman look older. Her youth is in her eyes, her skin. Now she looks tired and a bit more aged which can be expected something like 15 years later.

  15. ItsTheWooo Says:

Look at the skin on her arms and hands. That’s a 30 year old.

  16. kan Says:

Why show Brandon as a small child but not as an adult?
I think we should see the last PI picture with Brandon in it, even if you have to fuzz out his face.

  17. BabyBug Says:

What happened to my comment? Is it being reviewed before posting? Just concerned if one is not able to state valid points here for discussion.
    Thank you

  18. Martin Says:

I am moderating the comments, but as I stated at the outset of this, I am posting comments from all viewpoints.

I do not have anything running to filter spam comments because I felt it might catch some relevant comments as well. As a result of the traffic, I am getting several hundred spam comments per day.

We have been moderating comments on an almost hourly basis when we are awake. We were just out for a meal :)

  19. Mimi Says:

Dear Martin and Catherine, please, if you haven’t already done so, please file a report with the U.S. IRS, the U.S. Social Security Disability fraud investigation office, and the California State Attorney General’s office.

Please. No one else has the hardcopy paper trail that is in your possession.

Please help bring this unconscionable scammer to justice before further lives are endangered.

    Sincerely,
    Mimi

Martin, I do hope you know how deeply all of us who are involved in bringing this matter to the authorities for investigation and prosecution APPRECIATE YOU and Catherine for coming forward and for the time, effort, and expense you both have put into this whole thing — certainly not the least of which is this blog, and moderation of comments. THANK YOU, sincerely.

    Regards,
    Mimi

  21. BabyBug Says:

…What you mean you have to eat?!?!? …See I did kimkins too long….ok bad joke.
But I do appreciate the comment Martin…Like I posted on another forum- I guess patience isn’t and probably never will be one of my listed virtues.

Plus I may be a little sensitive at this point on what or whom to believe.
My days of being a Pollyanna are definitely over!
Thanks again for the time and efforts on your part.
    Cordially,
    BB

  22. ItsTheWooo Says:

I have to wonder how much money she actually made. We all know Jimmy is a crazy nut who likes to pat himself on the back (and will readily inflate any numbers just for the attention)… and, I just have a hard time believing a lot of people really jumped on board this kimkins thing. I bet the income was far more modest than the million + figure we so often hear about.

  23. Kimmerexia Says:

    Oh yeah, Martin…

About my trying to “hurry you up” a few days ago? I must say…this has all been most certainly worth the wait!!!

    Thank you!

  24. I Can See Clearly Now Says:

I would like to see Jimmy donate the blood money he earned as a affiliate to a worthy cause. Think that will happen?

  25. Another Anonymous Says:

[I have to wonder how much money she actually made.]

I know just before the Womans World issue hit the stands, there were about 2000 members. By the time she stopped showing stats, there were over 20,000 members, and that was in the hot-and-heavy WW campaign, so I don’t doubt that many more signed up. I assume all of them paid the $60 (but who knows what to believe). So, 20,000 x $60 = $1,200,000. I’d say that’s a very modest estimate.

  26. Kimmerexia Says:

Since it’s already been well established that one Heidi Kimberly ‘Kimmer’ [Miller] Diaz is a pathological liar, why would anyone believe the membership counts that were formerly posted on her website as being factual?

Why were the membership counts removed from the website?

  27. From the Inside Says:

Whether or not the membership counts are right . . .

I am still a member of the kimkins site, but just long enought to get my friends out. I was also there when Catherine was there. (Hi Cat!)

So, I was there before the Woman’s World (WW) article came out. The site literally EXPLODED once the WW article was published. You didn’t have to look at the member count to see the hundreds upon hundreds of new members joining each day and posting “I’m new” questions.

  28. greegreeyaya Says:

Martin, it is time to show the pic of Brandon. He is an adult, and furthermore his pics have already been posted when he was a minor so it’s silly not to post those of him as an adult today? Besides most of us have already seen him on myspace.

also may we see parts of the PI’s report? maybe the reciept he saw in the trash (block names if you must)

also I have a question that I dont know if you and Catwant to answer or not: Were you paid in full in the buy-out? or did Kimmer somehow default on that?

PS here is a link to the BBB, if any would like to write a review of Kimkins.com

You can tell that the “hair” in this picture is def. a wig….take it from a person that use to wear them…its a wig!!!!!

  31. oldbie Says:

I Received a call from an old friend yesterday. She pointed me to several sites and all this “kimmer” Drama. I was a member of LCF for about 10 years now ( yeah, before the current owndership) and had butted heads with “Kimmer” many times. I also respected her. When she originally posted a before..and got a lot of crap…( they thought her stats even back then didn’t match the pics) I defended her as I respect anyone who had struggles with their weight and won. Over time, I saw a thoughtful helpful woman get very full of her own power. She began to belittle fellow low-carbers and out and out called me a “lier” when I said “stillman’s stops working for me after a few weeks” ( this was even before she came up with “her plan”) I saw her increasingly become more and more angry and agressive that her way was the only way. ( By the way..her way is simply a combo of Stillman’s and Atkins..to the 10th power) I unfortunatly was on the back fringe of drama when she left..and watched her demise now.

I also must say..I’m not at all surprised if, indeed, this becomes a huge scam. I could see that possibility from the start. She was always obsessivly private. She became almost obsessive about her advice. She became angrier by the week. The only thing I’m truly shocked about is how many people followed her advice without question. Things like ” you never need to exercise” or ” I don’t believe in drinking water” all things that go against any healthy plan ever invented! Why did no one question her non-qualifications? Why would anyone pay for a plan that was all over the net for free?

I am truly sorry for those who became ill or broke due to this insanity…there are many many low-carb plans available that can get you to goal in a healthy way.

  32. Big Loser Says:

    Hi all —

Yes, I am a member of Kimkins - and so far I have lost 47 pounds in 11 weeks - but, I have to tell you - I switched to a much healthier diet as of this morning - the thought of losing my already thin hair put some fear into me - may lose the weight alot slower (53 lbs to go!) but at least I’ll have my hair! AND my eybrows!

Anyway, the one thing I am having trouble figuring out with all this - probably stupid, but, why would a woman who has made hundreds of thousands of dollars still live in an upstairs apartment?Has to be hard carrying those groceries up stairs…. Guess I notice the weird things….

  33. Julie Says:

Heidi Diaz is a fraud. The kimkins diet may work for some but that is because they are watching what they eat. Not because of the kimkins diet. I read an article that she was support foster kids. I don’t believe she has any. Don’t think she is a good person because she’s not.

  34. Kimkins Update from Christin « Say NO to Kimkins Says:

[…] In today’s episode, Jimmy talks with Christin Sherburne, former cover-girl for Heidi Diaz’s Kimkins diet scheme that hit the big time last year after landing on the cover of Woman’s World magazine. Besides appearing on the cover of that issue of the popular national women’s magazine in support of “Kimmer’s” diet plan, Christin also worked directly for Heidi as the Kimkins PR representative for a few months.
