BlueCotton for Custom Shirt Design
I just spent about an hour playing with the custom design application at BlueCotton.com. This is the best site for making custom t-shirts that I have ever seen. Here is a screen cap of the design studio.
What I really like about this design platform is the way that you can add several elements in one area and then edit with regard to which image is overlaying which. The clip art selection is pretty vast and you can customize the colors. You can upload your own images as well. I tried uploading a couple of photographs and applying them as a single color print. This didn’t work with my images, but I still think it would be really cool if you had pictures with really good contrast. If you have a company logo, you could easily incorporate it into a shirt design. I was messing around with line drawings from old patent applications. These are all in the public domain and some of them would look pretty cool on a shirt. You could also make a very personal political statement with a custom designed shirt.
