Learn How to Get Rid of Lice Now!
If you arrived here from a Google search, you and/or your child probably have lice. You aren’t trying to educate yourself on the history of lice. You aren’t planning to do a Science Fair project on lice. You want to get rid of lice.
If your kids go to school, the chances are pretty good that they will bring home head lice at some point in time. The creators of South Park recently tried to diminish some of the stigma associated with head lice using their trademark humor. The evil louse kinda reminded me of Dick Cheney, hopefully the opening disclaimer will keep Matt and Trey out of Gitmo. Anyway, lice just aren’t funny. I know because my family had to deal with the little buggers a few years ago. We hated the idea of using an insecticidal shampoo, but it is the conventional treatment so we tried it. To our dismay it did not work. A doctor told us that the lice were most likely resistant. My wife immediately got busy researching alternatives and eventually developed a plan of action to get rid of lice without using insecticides. It isn’t particularly simple and it isn’t particularly convenient, but it works. I actually did a mental checklist of the supplies and techniques this morning while taking a crowded bus into the center of town. I am not worried about head lice because I know what to do.
